A radio station that is more than just playing music, we are about serving the whole community with an emphasis on catering to the growing Hispanic audience in Washington DC's Metropolitan area. We also care about bridging the gap between Hispanic groups and the wider community.
Broadcasting from Woodbridge, Virginia since 2002, our signal covers the Washington DC Metropolitan area and reaches all major counties in Northern Virginia (see coverage map).
Our flavorful Mexican regional format and programs are enjoyed by both younger and older generations (18+), and we are pleased to be able to attract such a fantastic bunch.
Topics we cover on air range from general news, sports, medical advice, educational information, entertainment and religious services.
But why stop there? We also are excited about promoting up and coming artists, helping them raise their profile and reach the next level. Most recently Dezatados, Chepe y su Grupo Linze, Aliados de la Sierra, Authoridad de la Sierra and El Grupo Control benefited from the station's publicity. And past groups include Las Babies Swings, Rene Alonso y su Banda Lasser, Los Cocodrilos, Alacranes Musical, Conjunto Atardecer, Agave Norteño and Los Players.
We also unite businesses and listeners. So not only is our public getting entertained, but they are also learning about valuable services, time and time again.
